Need some honest opinions about this dress... please?
My husband said he likes it, but I know he's just thinking in terms of cleavage.

My question is this: If my upper arms are... well.. less than flattering, would this dress still look okay? I usually shy away from sleeveless dresses, but I need a new one desperately & this one is on sale for 1/3 its original price.

Thank you!

1. Nice. If hubby is looking at cleavage, why worry about your arms?
Get a sheer shawl to wear around it and your arms if you're uncomfortable.

2. That's a great idea!
I forgot I have a shawl from India, too, that might look good with it. Thank you! :-)

3. Yes...
if you'll notice, the model's arms are less than flattering and most people won't or didn't notice until I pointed it out. Further, it's a nice dress. Slightly unadventurous as little black dresses go, but nice.

6. Little black dresses are made to be accessorized.
An extra shawl or 2 in different colors or patterns. A knitted shrug to go over the arms and shoulders. Jewelry, of course. A different tie belt. Lots of different things you could do with that.

5. I like it.
the straps are quite nice. Do they have beading on them?
I couldn't wear it because a)I have no umm cleavage and b)my arms are too flabby from weight loss.
I think it would look good on you, and as you said you DO have a shawl.

go for it.

8. Thanks, aA
No beads, just crochet... but I liked that too. Reminds me of some things I wore when I was younger. :-)

13. Seriously, you don't want it too long if you are petite.........
maybe just below the knee if you are. You don't want the dress to wear you. :)

15. You're right... I know it sort of drowns a person when a dress is too long!
Thanks for the reminder! :hi:
