How long will sun dried tomatoes in oil keep?

I am needing to make something and don't want to go to the store but may have to. I need to use sun dried tomatoes and I have a jar in my fridge that has been in there for months. They are marinated in oil. They look fine but would they be safe? Yes, I know I need to clean out the fridge.

1. if they're in the fridge, they should be OK unless you see fuzzy growth on them

take em out of the fridge and let them come to room temp. If the oil looks clear at room temp you should be ok.

edit to add, as long as they were completely submerged in the oil. add more oil if needed when you use them

never put it to the test since those things are addictive but to my knowledge the drying plus oil is preservative plus fridge? yes, i think they're good to go

5. I think the last jar I had was good for 2 years?

It didn't last that long, but it was a big jar so I checked the expiration to see how long I had to eat them all.
