5. Hey,you're stalking me!
I had a friend in school, named Leonard Kazar back in the day. We'd sing "Here in my car, with Leonard Kazar." Well,it was funny when drunk and stoned.

11. What struck me most about the LP...
"Cars" was far from the best song on it. "Metal" remains my fave Gary Numan tune of all time, and "tracks" and "films" are songs that just stand alone defying description while entire genres rise and fall.

That show was an amazing and mindblowing example of pure GENIUS on a shoestring budget.

13. I love my car. She's on her last legs, but she's a good little girl and
I fucking HATE these damn gas prices; I know it's politically incorrect, but I admit it...I love road cruising.

16. *lol* I do admit to occasionally "forgetting" something at the store
just so I have an excuse to get out of the house - I get cabin fever REAL easy.

17. That's a line from the other song I linked to, "Metal"...
It wasn't intended as an actual comment on your relationship with your car. (Although that makes perfect sense to me, as well- I know where you're coming from!)

14. vH1 or MTV did a one hit wonder special that included "Cars".
Edited on Wed Mar-26-08 11:53 PM by VenusRising
Gary Numan said in his interview..."They call me the godfather of techno, and I don't even LIKE it." I think of that every time I hear "Cars".
