Passwords...grrr....
I think my head will explode if I have to remember one more password or combination of letters and numbers/all caps/no caps/four-letter combination/15 letters, Some caps/one cap and one number...

No two passwords in my life are the same!!

And the favorite color, favorite food, etc., kinds of questions don't help if I was to forget one. My favorites are always changing!!

AAAARG!!

:argh:

1. Don't you hate the ones you have to change periodically?
At work, we have to change them every month. Extremely annoying!

I use the same one for just about everything else, though.

I have a huge problem with PIN numbers. I can never remember those.

3. Extremely annoying!
I have two just to log into our computers at work, another one for training (as if anybody would have time to do someone else's training!), one for our benefits, another for email, another for travel.... the list never ends. Somehow, I've managed to keep track of them all...but it is getting more difficult with each new password!! I love they way the computer will ask, within a few days of a password expiring, "Would you like to change it now?" lol Hell no, I wait until the very last day, when I am invariably late to sign in, and almost have a stroke trying to think up yet another password! LOL!

Thank you for listening! ;-) :hi:

4. I deal with two different work-related websites where I have to
periodically change the passwords, but it never happens at the same time, yet the sites both are overseen by the same place.

Right now, I use the same password on both, but my user name is different for each one.

Still irks the hell out of me, though, when it's time to change the password.

2. What kills me
Is that I only get three tries before my system locks and I have to call the IT department.

And why does my password have to be so cryptic with an alphanumeric/special-character combination?

To reduce the possibility of successful third parties brute-force attacks whereby they transmit thousands or millions of passwords to the system in hope of stumbling onto mine.

Why the hell do I get three tries, but the anonymous intruder gets millions?!?
