The gay Berlin Wall is falling!
Think back to the late 80s...Perestroika...then Hungary takes down its fence with the West. Hungarians exit and thousands of 'stonewash refugees' from the rest of the Eastern Bloc go west through Hungary...the Czech Velvet Revolution: 'Havel Na Hrad'...100,000 demonstrate in Leipzig...then Communism finally collapses in the Soviet Union.

We are seeing a similar trickle-to-a-flood process here in gay marriage. Domestic partnerships, same-sex benefits...the Hawaii court case...Vermont civil unions...Canada recognizes same-sex marriage...the Massachusetts court case...and now San Francisco starts marrying gays at a dizzying pace.

The Wall is falling, folks. Reactionaries are not putting it back up, no matter how hard they try.
