10 days without the loo, what do I do?
Sigh. Due to tiles whose grout had disintegrated, there's water damage. The whole bathroom needs to be repaired. x(

So I'm without a loo for 10 days in my widdle little apartment...

No shower. No bathtub. No sink.

For 10 days! Yowzers!

Where do I go to do anything, as I'm assuming it's all off limits while they renovate... It's not my fault the grouting disintegrated...

7. Hmmmmmm
When that happened to me, I was in the Air Force so I could just go shower at the gym. I don't suppose you belong to a gym by chance, do ya? As far as da pee and da poo, I waited until I got to work. HAHAHA. As a matter of fact, since you can't hold back the flood in the morning, I stepped outside. Ewwwww, I know, but whaddya gonna do?

10. Truck stops still do
There's one in Fayetteville with a shower (20 minutes, two towels, $3.99 or free with 80-gallon minimum fillup--easy to do on a truck that holds 400 gallons), a line of washers and dryers (put in 125 gallons and get one free load and a shower), a TV room with cable (no minimum purchase required), and even a little gym. It's always got business.

11. You can buy the kind of porta potty like you would put in a camper
pretty cheap. Well, under $50 maybe.

12. Perhaps you can rent them, too.

You can also, I'd think, still buy the el cheapo tent-camping port-a-potty (think toilet seat on legs -- it uses a plastic bag insert and the legs fold up for packing.)

14. Make the apartment people deal with it
If there's an empty unit near you make them give you a key so you can use the bathroom and shower in it at least.

Blind Descent, a good mystery about a murder in a large cave, and do it the caver way.

Story story, well there is the "pee bottle" and the ziplock baggie thing.

OR you could read Andy McNab "Bravo Two Zero" about SAS troopers on the ground in Iraq during the first Gulf War. Very good read, but yes SAS trooper carry out ALL solid waste.
