Poll question: Could you eat human flesh?
For some reason the other day I was thinking about that movie "Alive". For those of you not familiar with it

So if you had to choose between starvation and cannibalism... Well... could you?

6. Ever hear of the right-wing Colorado Republican Cannibal?
A judged sentenced him, saying something like, "There were four Democrats in ______ County, and you ate all of them!"

8. I've never eaten any flesh, life long veg here
so not to skirt the moral issue, but I would assume that it is a non-issue for me. If I was to the point where I was starving so badly that I would have to eat flesh, the resulting sickness from trying to consume meat for the first time, would probably kill me.

18. Not to be morbid..
And you don't have to answer this if it's not appropriate...

I can't help but be curious under what circumstances you smelled burning flesh...

Maybe it's a bad question.. if so I am sorry.

17. Will to live.
I think my will to live would take over...

If it means living if I do it, dying if I don't, pass the ketchup.

If I'm with some people and we're ever stranded stranded, and I die first, they're are welcome to chow down.. I'm a pretty skinny guy, so hopefully it doesn't happen over thanksgiving...

23. I would rather die!!!!
I have a major aversion to even the idea of eating human flesh, but even stronger, I am phobic about being eaten (not including sexual definitions;-) ). When my ex and I watched the movie, I made him promise that if our plane ever crashed, and he thought I wouldn't survive, he had to carry me far away, and bury me so no one could find me. But after thinking about it, that wasn't good enough, because bugs and animals could still find me, and that really creeped me out too. I also decided that when I die, I want to be cremated because I don't want natural decomposition to take place (bacteria, bugs, etc... YUCK!!!!!!)

Seriously, read In the Heart of the Sea by Nathaniel Philbrick. A great tale of survival and cannibalism.
