1. That site has gone steadily downhill.....
It gained prominence and attention through clever writing and sh*t talking on whatever musical sacred cows were de rigeur at the time. The articles were funny and the gossip was scathing.

Now that site just seems to exist 75% of the time to promote the sh*tty bands on their label.

Good to see him on the good side of this list. His album Hearts of Oak is excellent and has a few digs at the current resident in chief and his cronies. Gotta love that.
