Michael Schenker/UFO. Any thoughts?

...As a teenager, I had exactly one UFO album, "Lights Out." I recently listened to it again, 20 years later, and realized it was great. So I got the UFO live album-- also great. I've heard stories about Schenker and his demons for years now. He's obviously a shadow of his former self. Very sad. But "Lights Out" is one of the best unheralded albums of the '70s.

11. Schenker in his prime, no doubt! I love the live version because...

...as long as it is, it never gets self-indulgent. Everyone in the band cooks throughout. The result is something that must have mesmerized the B.O.C. fans waiting for the main attraction on that tour. Yeah, that was UFO in their glory days. I saw them a year or so after the live album --without Schenker. That's another post.

Hell, nice just to see another UFO fan here.
