Barbara Bush on another drunken bender (NY Post)

Barb Bush's Belly Bash

FRISKY First Daughter Barbara Bush put on a belly-dancing show at Chelsea hot spot Viscaya early yesterday while imitating the undulating tummy of a sword-twirling Japanese dancer named Yoko. Bush jumped up and joined Yoko at the socialite-studded after-party for Jennifer Nicholson's fashion show, prompting partygoers to throw flowers and hundreds of dollars in cash at the feet of Bush and Yoko. Commenting on the trays of margaritas and Veuve Clicquot champagne delivered to Bush's table before her gutsy performance, one wag quipped, "I hope the Secret Service is driving her home." Socialites Amanda Hearst, Elisabeth Kieselstein-Cord and Tinsley Mortimer hosted the "Magic Carpet Ride"-themed bash and post-show supper at adjoining restaurant Sette. The glammy guests included Ivanka Trump (hand-in-hand with Q-Tip heir and "Born Rich" director Jamie Johnson), Muffie-Potter Aston, Somers Farkas, Kimberly Stewart and Robert De Niro's ex-wife, Grace Hightower. Nicholson, the thirtysomething designer daughter of Jack Nicholson, also showed off her boy toy, 24-year-old Warren Hode, the sole male model in her show.

Hmmm...didn't the NY Post get orders to leave the twins alone?

1. Sorry, but this has to be said:
If this were Chelsea, they'd be breaking into regularly-scheduled TV broadcasts about it.

I'm just sayin'

2. Wonder what the 21-year-olds in Iraq were doing at the same time?
I couldn't care less about the twins, except how they reflect the "two Americas" her father and his buddies are trying so hard to create. While he is eager to expend young (non-rich) American lives in his mad dash to implement neocon schemes, his own daughters are safe, rich and hobnobbing with the likes of Tinsley Mortimer and Muffie-Potter Aston. Hypocrisy, thy name is Bush.

3. Here is my favorite line in the whole article :
Bush jumped up and joined Yoko at the socialite-studded after-party for Jennifer Nicholson's fashion show, prompting partygoers to throw flowers and hundreds of dollars in cash at the feet of Bush and Yoko.

Its great to see money being thrown at the feet of people who don't need anymore money . :eyes:

4. Story ironically plugged on MSNBC right after Imus was over
you'd think GE wouldn't let their people promote the twins shenanigans.
