I met Oggy for a drink

in london before the caucus. At it turned, a coupla pints and a
short chat in a victoria pub. I would not disclose what oggy looks
like except to say he's covered with blue hair and says "blobby
blobby blobby" when speaking. ;-)

Oggy is a brilliant citizen of the world, and he is the only face i
know on DU. Everyone else is a word... How far away at time words
are to people who speak them. Memes, ideological opposites in
lexicon, between animals, entirely similar in person.

Fortunately, both Oggy and i speak "blobby" and we had a grand old
time. "blobby blobby blobby blobby" :-)

My partner does not speak "blobby" and thinks i waste my time on DU
in a "blobby" fantasy. Oggy, a fellow DU spirit, understands, and
for once the virtual is paged in one real page, "blobby".

On edit I would just like to say, how cool it is to have a face to a monicur. We all lurk, trawl, post and discuss, but we must never underestimate the importance of human face to face contact. I gained more from meeting Sweetheart for a couple of hours than a week of DU ( as I am addicted, and a week is 84 hours of DU for me ). We are all humans and we are designed to interact on such a level. Even though DU may be a magnificent forum to exchange views, face to face achieves much more.
