Movie recommendation: "The Band Trip", an Israeli film we LOVED IT and so did the

crowd we saw it with. One of those funny little films that makes you laugh and laugh.no slapstick, not broad comedy at all just funny, and very sweet. Story is a policemans orchestra from Alexandria Egypt goes to Israel to play at the dedication of an Arab cultural center, and they get lost (as in directed to a totally incorrect location, which happens to be in the Middle of Nowhere) The rest of the movie is about their encounter with the persons they meet there and these characters are all fantastic.

we saw it at the Magnolia at the Modern series in Ft Worth..a lovely little theater in the Modern Art Museum ..one more showing today @ 4 pm. Still playing at the Magnolia in Dallas.

We saw it because my husband saw a preview of it on the DVD of "The Jane Austen Book Club" and said we would have to rent it when it came out on DVD. I just happened to check the Modern's listings and there it was so we went.
