5. I watched it...
just wondered if anyone was a fanatic about it the way I am? LOL.

Am I the only one that cried my eyes out at the end of the show?

7. It was sad
At first I thought Jenna was just doing her drama queen thing. I'm glad she stuck to her guns and went home before it was too late.

18. She knew her mother was sick with Cancer before she signed up
Which is why this gal as absolutely no sympathy for her decision (although I feel sad that she lost her mother).

She KNEW before signing up for the second round of Survivor that her mother was in that cancer center and yet SHE choice to play the game aways.

Kudos for Alicia for calling a spade a spade. Jenna M. is nothing but a selfish bimbo who put herself before her family. I think she saw Tina get voted out and realized that she had no chance of winning the money since she was a previous winner and used it as an excuse to get out of the game.

The producers of Survivor are not that heartless, if Jenna had to back out at the last minute because of a change of health in her mother I'm sure they had alternatives lined up to replace her. There were other great memorable women who could have been in All-Stars including Darrin or Sandra from Pearl Island or Christy from Amazon (I would have loved to give her a second chance at the game!)

8. Yes and I cried like a baby
It was so sad, especially when they put up on the screen that her mom had died eight days after she got there. I'm glad she made it back to see her mom before she died, she probably who have never forgiven herself if she hadn't.

9. Me too...
I admit I thought she was just up to her old ways at first. When the end came on I just lost it completely.

At least Ethan is around for another week! :D

10. I watched it...
it was rather interesting. Very peculiar twist. I do feel sorry for
Jenna, but she should have never taken the offer to play the All-Star
game given her Mom's condition.
This Survivor is bound to be good.

11. I never miss it.
After that shark bite, I wonder if Hatch will wear shorts when he goes swimming from now on. Or maybe he wouldn't mind singing soprano.

12. i think rupert will be in trouble soon...
if they dont win immunity for awhile, after the whole shelter thing... not only was it a bad idea, they told him it was a bad idea, the inspector was visibly scared when they came, then they had a bad storm in it. lol. rupert's lucky there was no council this week.

13. I agree
After the hut thing I was sure that Rupert would be history. And it was really sad about Jenna and her mother. I love Rupert and hope he gets to stay for a little while longer. But I'm hooked on the damn show and I swore I never would be.

14. I totally agree with you
My opinion, Rupert was just plain annoying tonight. I loved him in the last game but I think he needs to be taken down a couple of notches. He's arrogant and in this game, that just won't work...unless you are Richard Hatch.

16. I'm sorry Jenna lost her mother,
but she never should have signed up to play if she had other issues that were so important. I for one would not have missed her.

17. Felt very sorry for Jenna
I feel for her after losing my own mother to cancer. I don't think she should have gone on the show with her mother so sick but I think Tom and Elisha were very insensitive to have come right out and said it.

I am getting real sick of Richard Hatch and his arrogance. Though I really like Rupert his having to control everything is going to get him kicked off and he will deserve it.

19. Tom and Alicia were absolutely correct with what they said
Edited on Fri Feb-13-04 04:17 AM by LynneSin
Seriously, Jenna's mom was in the cancer center when she left for Survivor. You couldn't pay me trillions of dollars to leave the side of my mother if she was ill; I've already lost my father to cancer and I know what it's like

Jenna got spooked when they voted out Tina in the first round and realized she had no chance of winning the money since she was a previous winner herself. I'm glad she made it home to be by her mothers bedside and yes I had a few tears in my eyes when I saw the mother had died 8 days later, but how stupid & insensitive can you be to leave your dying mother's bedside to play a damn game show.

Don't shed tears for Jenna - she knew she wasn't going to win and got out of there pronto!
