And it's 72 right now, 11pm.

But I can't wait to move to San Francisco next month. It's been 3 1/2 years of nonstop summer and I'm SICK of it. Sick of the bugs, the rats, the humidity.

To be fair, it was nice, with highs around 70 for most of January, but it's already warming up again...

The one nice thing about Miami is that it's easy to dress, You don't have to worry much about "layers", although you might need a sweater for overly air-conditioned restaurants & theatres...

1. Nine months of Spring...

One month of Fall and Two months of Summer, and you want to give that up and move to San Francisco?

I'm about 150 miles to the north of you, and to me this is paradise.

My wife tried to get me to move to Oregon a few years ago. After spending one week there I was ready to commit suicide. It's cold, damp and depressing. I've spent some time in San Francisco, it aint much better.

I guess everyone has their own idea of paradise. If we all liked the same thing, somewhere would be very, very crowded.

On edit, I really liked the Gizmo gif

2. uberotto...
where are you located, if you don't mind me asking? I'm in Flagler County. The temp was 86 today and I was lovin' it! My ex wanted to move us to Portland (job) but fortunately that fell through and I didn't even have to spend a week there. Sometimes I wish I lived anywhere else but here but I do enjoy the warm weather. It would be a little better if we could just get rid of lil' jebbie. ;)

6. I'm a little to the south of you...
In Brevard County.

Yea, jebbie is an embarrasment, but it's a trade-off. The temperature stays mostly in the 70's and 80's, I've got the beach 20 minutes away, and all this flat land makes my Civic Hybrid get really good gas milage.

We go to Orlando for the theme parks and Tampa for the culture (my wife likes the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team).

I've lived up and down the east coast, as well as Chicago and Dallas, so I've lived a lot of other places before I got to here, and here is where I plan to stay.

7. In Miami it's more like 9 months of summer, 3 months of WARM spring
To me, highs over 80 are SUMMER, esp. with humidity. 60-75 is spring to me. Granted, the beaches here are great, and December & January are nice, but the heat just drags on too long.

I lived in San Diego for a long time, and loved the climate there. SF is a bit cooler, but I can take it.

I do like the clean air here in Miami, and the fact that I have no allergies here...

5. it was almost 40 here and I thought about not wearing my coat
The ice floes here in PA are finally receding and the potholes can swallow a truck. So I wish I could have more sympathy for you :)

9. Yuck, you can have that heat down there.
I lived there most of my life and when I moved to Atlanta, I realized that there were actually 4 seasons and not just year-round summer.

11. It gets hot and muggy here in the summer but one good thing about it,
you don't have to shovel sunshine.
