Wow. Kids make you feel OLD.
Tomorrow is JackMN's fifth birthday. I'm not certain what weirds me out more- that my youngest is turning five or that my oldest spawn will be a freaking DECADE old, three weeks later. I suppose it's a universal experience among parents.

Between that and the Twister-inflicted injuries I suffered after submitting to a game that requires feats of contortion that I should NOT have attempted, I feel friggin' ancient.

:P

1. I know what you mean. My oldest just hit the big 1-0. But if I really want to feel old, I only have
to think about the kids I used to babysit. They're all grown up now. :O

3. No kidding!
A "little girl" I used to babysit bartends at my favorite pub. It's weird.

18. Thanks, sweetie!
She's had a rough time of it so far, but it's getting better. She'll be 33 this month, so she's around your age? You are young, I know that.

20. Well I am currently seeing a man who is a grandfather.
Okay, he's only 47, just a few years older than me and he doesn't LOOK like a grandfather. But still. It's a little weird.

Do they keep reminding you that you're old? Me firstborn keeps asking how old I am, then says, "wow, that's really old. That's more than three zero."

26. Hell, just going back to college makes me feel old.
All these fresh-faced 17-19 year olds surrounding me. I was talking to a 21 year old the other day and I asked her what the music playing was. I had to ask if it was a local band or if I'm just getting old enough that I'm not recognizing recent music anymore.

It wasn't a local band.
