A friend showed me an interview with JMS in an industry mag, where he was talking up his concept of the show when it was still in development. Yep, that was the usenet group all right. The unmoderated group was all trek vs. b5 flamewars, all the time. :rofl:

Yeah, I was a B5 geek. Voted in all of the P5 polls, and a co-worker and I even got a B5 rep to come to town with a blooper reel and some cool stuff. I ended up with a Psy Corp badge autographed by Walter Koenig. :D I can't count how many 'viewing parties' my friends and I held to indoctrinate, I mean, introduce the goodness of B5 to the uninitiated. :evilgrin: I'm still doing the same thing with my wife. They laughed at me and made jokes, but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt, and with geometric logic, that a duplicate key to the wardroom icebox did exist!
