How hard is it to say "Good Morning"?

Me and a friend were at a friend's cubicle (I actually did have business there) and our departmental VP walks by and says in a bright and friendly voice..."Get to work"..Not even a "Hi, Good Morning now get to work".
Not sure if she thought she was being funny (from the tone of voice it seemed so). If it was a joke (and with her it probably wasn't entirely) it certainly fell flat.
That always makes us feel sooo good about being here..Who needs politeness when you can crack that corporate whip?:banghead:

1. Maybe she was on her way to get coffee

Today I took the local elevator because two of my bosses were on the express and I just didn't have the energy to even attempt to make conversation. Mornings are rough.

2. It seems the more cubicles there are in an office,

the more beans the managers count and the less thanks the employees get.

I'm sorry that person was so rude, and perhaps she was being flip but that is no excuse....
