At early voting I had a Republican crossovvoter really get angry when I stamped his card Democrat.
And there was nothing he could do about it.

We were told to stamp everyone's voter's card.

Wish I could have a video of this guy turn beet red.

I told him he could always get a new card, his look was priceless.

I was getting paid for doing this.

1. There's a difference between an open primary and instant party change.
To vote in the 2000 Ohio R. primary, I had to swear on paper that I supported R. principles. After thinking about it, I figured I could do that as long as I looked at a few of the things they SAID they supported even if they did not in fact. Unfortunately I had to stay registered as an R. until I moved later that year and reregistered. We still get crap from McCain and the RNC.

2. We don't have registered parties here.
The stamp just means you voted in the primary.

We had a lot of repbulicans cross over and vote for one thing, really fast.

They didn't think about their cards being stamped democrat.

I was making $8 and $12 over time an hour pissing off republicans.

We now have a big runoff on the republican side so the republicans that crossed over can't voted in that runoff election.

I am looking forward to working the runoff in a few weeks.
