Smoke Away??? Help...
I am going to give this another try. I have tried patches/gums/cold turkey, has anyone here used smoke away? I can't seem to find real reviews on it. Says money back guarantee and quit in 7 days but I want to hear from something else than a website selling it. HELP.

6. I'm currently on the lozenge
and it's been working like a champ! The patch has worked for me in the past, but I always ended up smoking again. So far, so good on the lozenge. 4+ months. I just wish they were about half the price.

8. lozenge
i looked into this option, seemed noteworthy, however you stated its exact problem, "4 months" later you are still using them. its worth it if they work though, not knocking them, i just want to hear from someone who has used smoke away to see if its too good to be true or what.

12. I'm definitely addicted to them
A small price to pay for being rid of the carcinogens and the stinky smell. I often forget to take my morning lozenge unitl lunch, so I think I'm about ready to cut back without too many problems. At that point I'll just switch to Altoids.

7. You don't actually chew the gum like gum.
You just chew it up a little and stuff it in your lip like dip. When the bite it gives lessens, chew it a few more times and stuff it back in your lip. The gum worked for me, though I wasn't a heavy smoker. I haven't found anything near as good.

5. Move to Michigan
Just move to Michigan. The good Gov Grandholm just proposed a 75 cent increase in the tax to bring us up to $2.00/pack. That is second only to New Jersey at $2.05/pack. Seriously good luck in your withdrawal it will be worth it.

10. What brand do you smoke?
When I quit I had switched over to American Spirit. They dont add chemicals and whatnot. I actually went through some heavy withdrawel when I made the switch. Once I got over it though I was able to totally quit pretty easily.

15. Maybe this will help.
One problem I have had with the gums and lozenges. I have read that when quitting smoking, you should drink lots of fluids. Specifically, I have read that cranberry juice is very good for getting the toxins out of your blood stream. The problem, with gums and lozenges is they say don't eat or drink anything within like 20 minutes of taking it. It makes it very difficult to drink lots of fluids if you are so restricted because of using gums or lozenges. Actually, one thing I thought that helped were regular sore throat type of lozenges. Hall's has some fruit ones that actually tasted ok, and they seemed to reduce my desire for a cigarette. A website that I have visited that seemed helpful is www.whyquit.com or atleast I found it helpful. Best of luck getting off that stuff...Kevin.
