I think the women in DC need better girlfriends
first Monica gets screwed by her supposed friend, Linda Tripp, now this mystery woman who was allegedly with Kerry gets screwed over by her friend. These girls need better friends!

You would never see the women on Sex And The City out each other if they had affairs. I think there's some unwritten girlfriend code against this sort of thing.

To all the DU women, would you snitch on your girlfriend if she had an affair with a married man?

1. No.
I know and love someone who has had more than one married man as her lover. She doesn't want to marry them and they don't want to marry her. They've made the choice to step out on their wives -- my friend is not responsible for that. She's responsible for herself.

3. I'm glad I'm not alone
I've never had an affair, but if my friend did, it wouldn't be any of my damn business to spill the beans.

4. More to the point --
"To all the DU women, would you snitch on your girlfriend if she had an affair with a married man?"

How about if a RNC operative paid you $50,000? $150,000?

5. HELL NO!
And I sure as hell wouldn't want someone who WOULD do that for a friend, either, I don't give a shit HOW MUCH MONEY they were offered. That doesn't mean that it's right to screw around with a married man, it means that it's none of my or anyone else's damn business and you don't have the right to stick your nose in it, unless she's being physically and/or or emotionally abused, and even then you should only try to help your friend, and not blab it to the world.

And if the goddamn repukes are up to their old trick of trying to dig up anything adultery-related on Dems, then let's hear about Poppy Bush's mistress that he's had for a hundred million years that everyone kept oh-so-quiet, or Shrub's former mistress, or those Paragons of Family Values Virtue Neil Bush, Newt Gingrich, Jeb Bush, and about a million others.

Why don't we EVER hear about THEM in the mainstream media, and I'm talking about more than just the two-or-three-sentence blurbs in newspapers and on TV? Why do the media fall all over themselves to air adultery accusations about Dems nonstop, and always give a free pass to the repukes?

My own congressman, Steve LaTourette, who voted to impeach Clinton because he showed "lack of moral integrity and virtue" and "betrayed his family", etc., etc., ad nauseum, just a few months ago called his wife from Washington, said he had a girlfriend (a lobbyist, it turned out), and he wanted a divorce. She asked for counseling, he said he'd consider it. A week later he called, said he wanted a divorce, said "it's over, goodbye", and hung up. And after 22 years!!!! She was just devastated. And he had the fucking nerve, the unmitigated gall, to say that he wasn't going to talk about it publicly because it was a (yes, you guessed it), PRIVATE matter! A PRIVATE matter! Oh, really? Well, then, why wasn't Clinton's family business a "private matter?"

And the local paper, which has always fawned all over him and which hated Clinton, ragging on him 24/7 for eight years, has never said ONE FUCKING WORD about it!!!!!!! NOT ONE WORD! Goddamn fucking hypocritical sanctimonious arrogant self-righteous repukes!

Well, if this is the same tired old shit they're gonna pull, I say, n the words of Our Great Esteemed Wise Leader, BRING IT ON!!! We've had enough of their fucking hypocrisy, and we're gonna give it right back to them with both fucking barrels!!!

7. LOL!
Okay, okay, I know I can off on some good rants a lot of the time, but, damnit, this particular issue just REALLY frosts my cookies, as I'm sure you can tell.
