went to the accountant
with Mr. lost.....
there is a discrepancy in the 50/50 part of the deal on his spread sheet....

some how he is getting a little more money than me so I told him maybe we can figure out how to get it even.... told him my lawyer said we should be able to work on it....

well by his reaction you would have thought I told him I was going after all of it!!!! LOL
he said, see.... your lawyer just wants us to argue so we have a long litigation and he can make money.... wtf??? I said noooo he's just looking out for me!

any way got over that and started getting down and dirty.... some things were OK others weren't... his lawyer sounds like an ass to..... said I could get a GREAT break if I sold the house, wouldn't have to pay taxes on 250K...... he didn't tell him the $250,000 that I wouldn't be taxed on was NOTHING compared to the money i would be taxed on..... dim wit

any way, I kept hearing from the acct. if we work together we can get this done quickly.... you can be divorced by the end of the year... and if your lawyers schedules are in sync we might make it at the end of the summer!!! WHOOPPPEEEEE

He must have said this in different variations during the meeting....
he didn't do it maliciously but every time I heard divorce and fast I wanted to scream....
hmm do I want fast??? not sure

I found out they are going to Amsterdam together for work..... how convienient....
no pretense this time.... :eyes: :eyes: he didn't tell me, someone from the office did.... asked him questions and gave him the chance to tell me.... he didn't... pfft
guess it's a secret unless you read the corporate calender
I am a bag of mixed emotions right now.... I don't want to do this one minute but then I get in his truck and have to move the seat back.... and wonder who was there before me.... but then I watched him today and remembered things he did with his hands and eyes when he talked....
so damn it.... we almost didn't go to lunch but ended up at Fudruckers
talked a little more about the spread sheet and said we would work on it together and make it what we want and bring it to the lawyers and say

write it up...

so now its raining... found a leak in my son's house he will be moving to, go to the Dr.s tomorrow to make sure blood pressure is coming down
oh yeah I hurt and lost a good friend to.... :(

I know in the scheme of things this is insignificant.....
but it's whats going on in my life right now and it sucks

thanks for the vent

lost

1. Wow, it's like God's just out to chip away at your peace of mind.
Don't take that sitting down. I strongly suggest you get even by, say, treating yourself. I'm talking true decadence, like asking your best friend over for a bottle of Merlot and scarfing down a whole box of girl scout cookies. Dye your hair, do chick stuff to your toenails. Or go bowling.

When the universe is trying to fuck you up, the only way to fight back is with fun.

6. Hugs to you
All the pain of divorce comes vividly back when I read your posts. It is just hell, isn't it? Some day--and possibly sooner rather than later--this will all be over and, although sometimes it takes years and years (or in my case, years and years and years and years!) to get over this, if we ever get over it at all, there will be new trails to follow. Exciting things will still happen in your life. One day this unpleasant journey will all make sense.

9. Believe me, what you are going through is more stressful than my
situation.

Thanks for writing about this topic, because it probably is helpful to others as well just to see your feelings expressed on this difficult subject that is hard to write about.

No, I didn't go to the ER. I felt too bad to go or, to be more honest, chickened out. :scared:

But I did speak to some family members who are now aware of my situation, and if I don't get some relief soon I am sure I will be getting some medical care somewhere.

Part of me is curious to see how long this headache can possibly last, and how much of it I can endure. There are actually people who have headaches like this every day, and having this one makes me very empathetic with them. It would be a horrible way to exist.
