Question: My pop-up blocker has been penetrated

I have a pretty good popup blocker on my computer, but there seems to be one glaring hole in it: whenever I go to CNN's website a I get popups from external websites. It seems to only be when I go to that website that popups manage to slip through. Can I stop this?

Spybot is a free and effective one. Google it and you'll find lots of places where you can download.

4. i have popup blocker through netscape, and it does the same thing...

i think thiers an 'allow popups from' box somewhere...with cnn as the default. cause it happens on cnn for me too.

http://www.snapfiles.com in the freeware>startup managers section called "Codestuff Starter". Install it. Shut off msmsgr.exe in the startup programs. That could well be the thing causing it.

Or get Mozilla.
