The Recipients of the First Gay Marriage in San Francisco
Edited on Thu Feb-12-04 05:50 PM by slinkerwink

This lesbian couple has been together for over 50 years. This is the scary face of gay marriage? I think not. I say congratulations to them! I hope that someday I'll be with my girl for fifty glorious years and more, to grow old with her, and with wedding rings on both our fingers. :loveya:

4. look at those terrorists, pretending to be happy...
when all they are doing is plotting the eventual eradication of God-ordained hetero marriages and turning our children into catamites. Even now, thousands of happily-married, blissful couples are filing for divorce and abandoning their children, citing this complete loss of marital sanctity as their #1 reason for doing so. The mere fact that these women are getting married is too much for heterosexual spouses to bear

*sarcasm off*

8. When my sister from Texas called...
and I told her what had happened her, I asked her, "So, is your marriage falling apart now?" She replied, "My marriage was falling apart LONG before today!" :)

Ain't that the truth. Heterosexuals have been doing a damn fine job on our own destroying marriage, thank-you-very-much.

Good for those gals -- I have a few tears just thinking about how happy they must be! :toast:

Or you could just mark it as Feb. 12th and move on. :)

The thing is.. the gay men are the real top dogs.. they're the ones who brought in the religion of lesbianism

(You didn't hear that from me!)

And don't tell anyone or you'll get a visit from a MIB

17. Hey! Hey! HEY!
Edited on Thu Feb-12-04 06:19 PM by ronnykmarshall
I've warned you people ONCE! I'm not gonna do it again. (whispering) Keep it quiet about our plans and powers.

THE Plan is working on schedule. This has been planned out for decades.

THE Plan is at a criticle point right now and any slip ups could spell disaster.

THE Plan at this stage can NOT, I repeat can NOT allow room for error.

We've "terminated" before and we will "terminate" again.

All Hail THE Plan!

(And don't breath a WORD about AIDS being a way to fund THE Plan. Anyone mentions that people that "died" are really working in an underground city running THE Plan will be terminated AT ONCE! You should see some of the things Liberace has in store once THE Plan is in effect! And don't even get me started about how many times my brother keeps calling on THE Phone with info. SHEESH!)

Long live THE Plan!

20. first-----we recruit with toasters......and then we take over the WORLD!
Everywhere you'll see cute 80 year old lesbian couples marrying and kissing each other in a blatant display of their affections towards each other. THEN their evil tentacles come out.......and it's the end of the world as we know it! ;-)

BTW - The tentacles thing is sooooooo last year. I think we've opted out on them. I'll double check THE Plan and see if they are still in the budget. There was some fuss about the maintence, not to mention the possibilty of clashing with outfits and such.

19. I wonder how different my life would have been
had my mother been able to marry her girlfriend. I grew up without really realizing there was anything all that odd about my household (it wasn't until years later that I realized they not only shared a bedroom, but a bed - I never saw anything inappropriate for a child's eyes). Had they been able to marry, they might have avoided a lot of the stress that living closeted in the 60's caused them. My mother wouldn't have married a drunken, abusive, deadbeat just to "fit in." I wouldn't have been molested; my brother wouldn't have been beaten until he joined the Army at 17 to get away. We wouldn't have had to live in an illegal converted apartment above a factory warehouse because my stepfather had run up drinking and gambling debts. I'd have been able to go to college (my mother's girlfriend had started a college fund for me before they broke up).

So many things in my life would have been different had my mother married her girlfriend. And all of them would have been for the better.

26. exactly......a relationship in which a parent is happy with her/his spouse
ends up benefitting the children, and if the state or society is against that, then it only creates chaos in the lives of the children.

Longtime lesbian activists. They are pioneers in the gay rights movement. Have worked hard for our rights for decades.

That makes me even more happy about this!
