22. You do realize...
that half the male population of DU just hyperventilated and passed out over the thought of me playing with your kitty. ;-)

I might just have to make a big swing through the northeast. Never been there before and there are a ton of people I'd like to see. :-)

to the universe's ears. :-)

I've been getting all these little hints from the universe that I need to move that direction. Everyone I meet lately seems to be on east coast. One of these days I'm gonna listen to the universe and get my sorry butt out of Texas and see what's out there. :-)

32. More than you know...
but my family has also been in Texas for a very long time and unlike the current resident of the White House I actually love my state. Part of me feels like a traitor for even contemplating leaving instead of staying and fighting.

18. AWWWW! They do have eyes!
Believe it or not, this is a Labradoodle...a cross between a lab and a standard poodle. It was first bread in Australia by a guy who was trying to find a dog for a blind woman who was allergic to dogs. This is what he came up with. I hear that they are a healthy, smart and loving dog and live up to 15 years. They come in lots of colors and have a non shedding coat that runs from wavy to curly. I am going to see them on Sunday and if I know me, unless it bites my nose off, I'll take one home with me.

21. Looks like a cocker spaniel pup to me...
Edited on Thu Feb-12-04 05:23 PM by kmla
... if so, I had one, and he was a wonderful dog. Named him Joe (Joe Cocker, get it?).

Very patient, well behaved, and even tempered. However, he was prone to the "wee-wee of joy" once I got home from work. I learned to never touch him or pay much attention to him UNITL after I let him outside to whizz.

If it is not a cocker, it still is a damn cute dog. I say "yup!"

On edit: Just saw the ID in the post above of the "labradoodle". Never mind.

37. the 90 pound hound gives it two paws up
Edited on Thu Feb-12-04 07:03 PM by havocmom
and explained to me he would give it more, but wouldn't have legs to stand on. Syas Raven needs lots of dogs to snuggle and keep her warm.

90 Pound Hound wants a puppy too, but we need a bigger bed first.

edit: typo queen with cat on desk

39. I think 90 pounds is tops.
My Gypsy is 90 pounds so that is managable for me. My Raven (the Newfoundland) was about 125 and she was pretty easy. It is all in the training, I think. :-)
