Anti-Harley Davidson humor

I like my bikes fast, light, agile, and reliable. I admit my bias.

As we say in my community of old moto-farts, "a Harley is a tacky piece of jewelry dangling from the ass of someone who can't ride".....

2. uhhuh...

If you've got a $500 head, you wear a $500 helmet.
If you've got a $300 head, you wear a $300 helmet.
If you've got a Harley, you wear a bandana.

4. It's okay, but check this one - 11K out the door -

Yamaha Road Star - Midnight Star edition. Outperforms, outruns and looks better than 85% of the Harleys on the road.

5. I love the price. For those who love to ride it can't be beat.
But if you save just a little longer you can get this!:

btw I have a 69 650 Triumph Chopper that I love and a 69 Honda 750, both paid for both run great, so I won't be buying anything soon but one can dream.

7. OMG! Another Roadstar rider!!!
Mine's a 2000 model. Great for the long haul, great for a Saturday ride. Looks good, sounds great (especially with a set of V&H longshots on it).

Actually thought about trading it in for a touring bike, until I took a few long trips on it.

11. Our Roadie is a fabulous touring bike -
we do a lot of camping, and the bike is outstanding for long trips. Just bought T-bags at the end of last summer - they work great! :loveya: Roadie! (Mine is the Raven, of course....)

On a trip last summer:

12. I'm a huge T-bag fan
Last trip I took with the Mrs....a long weekend B&B trip. We took 4 changes of clothes each, plus 3 bottles of wine and the usual wine accessories - all in our universal expandable T-bag.

Took a 1600 mile trip to Big Bend country in May - 14 bikes, but no spouse. I just turned that bag around and used it as a backrest. A very comfortable ride, complete with 5 days of riding clothes and hiking gear.

6. HINO
which is, of course, Harley in Name Only.

What's the US content on those things? Or are they just assembled in the US from foreign-sourced parts?

I ride my Honda Magna... runs nice and smooth, takes next to no maint, is much faster, easier to turn

Chrome don't get you home.

13. What's the difference between a Harley and a Hoover?
The position of the dirt-bag on it.

Hey, it's just a joke. I'd love to have a Harley.
