I rarely forget about appointments, so when I do, I just hate myself.
I did it today. I was supposed to open the church building for a bride to be to meet with her florist to decide how to decorate the sanctuary. I forgot all about it!! I was actually in my office, but hadn't opened the building doors for others to get in. I also had forgotten to turn my phone back on after a worship service. So, I'm absent-mindedly printing out a curriculum, when I decide to turn my phone on...and see three calls from the bride!!! AARRGGHH!!

I've been trying to call her, but have called so much I'm beginning to look like a stalker.

Please say something to make me feel less guilty. Thank you.

2. You're right. I do deserve the finger.
And if I were at the 'puter with that tool bar, I'd give it to myself!

4. Many years ago, some friends of mine went out to a movie, completely
forgetting that they had invited one of the ministers from our church over for dinner.

So parishioners do it, too. :-)

5. I keep telling myself that everyone does this once in a while.
But God!! I feel awful. Especially because a bride has enough to do a week before her wedding without dealing with me!!!
