I BROUGHT HOME SOME CATNIP LAST NIGHT
So my cat Clancy is ping-ponging around the room, chasing non-existent airborne things, running into walls, knocking stuff over, hanging upside-down from the couch, drooling. But then I remembered, HEY, HE ACTS LIKE THIS EVERY NIGHT. I don't think catnip does sh** to Clancy. :o

2. We gave to our boy cat once
and only once. He looked like he was tripping (or so I am told). He is active enough and the girl isn't going to come with in 50 feet of the stuff. Then again if we give her some she may finally achieve the much sought after ceiling fan once and for all.

Personally I think catnip is for people who didn't play with their cat enough when it was a kitten and find themselves with an aloof pet because they ignored it.

4. Got mine a catnip toy a couple of months ago...
He went nuts for it. He spent the first few hours drooling all over it. There was a puddle on the floor around the toy.

Loads of fun!

6. Four cats, four different reactions
Momma cat drools and eats it, Precious gets a nose hit and bounces off the walls, Bandit rolls in it, gets covered then looks at us with eyes as big as a full moon.
Sam, damn his yellow ass, get's a whiff and starts spraying everywhere.

7. two of our cats
just go bonkers for the fresh catnip

they'll make faces at the dried store-bought kind, but eat it up anyways and then it's time to bounce off the walls
