DUers---I need help! Many have generously offered

We know that many DUers are out of work or in need. They contribute to DU in many ways. I posted that I would try to match folks up either through a thread or PM if someone wants anonymity.

Here's my problem. I have more donors that donees. So if you know of DUers that need assistance, please let me know. Thanks.

I have pledged to delete all my PMs on this after the donor drive. I barely remember names of people I know in real life. There is no chance I will remember anyone's name from this in a week or two. ;-)

4. We are in the unemployed boat.

My husband has been an unemployed IT professional for 7 months. My job has been to stay at home with our 4 kids. It sucks trying raise 4 kids and pay a mortgage on the measly unemployment pittance. I still am going to try and make a donation next week. I spend so much time here, there isn't a reason I can't give something.

9. Here is what I have been doing....mending fences sort of..I have

donated for a few people that I have had little spats with, whether it be football (Go Packers!) or politics. It's a very good feeling. I highly recommend it. :hi: But do it annoymously, it's a whole bunch of fun....like Christmas!

14. I've felt guilty about getting so much

and being unable to give. If I had joined a year earlier, I could have donated. But the nightmare of immigration is expensive... (lawyers and just general government fees and hassles.) I am not legal to work in Canada, and my partner is not legal to work in the states. Right now maintaining a toehold in two countries is killing us financially. I'm done whining now ...

P.S> I got star envy...pity me!;-)
