and I wanted to post my valentine's day poem with it....

Here goes anyway. From the bard to the bored. But NOT the bordello....

The Queen of Hearts
and other parts
one mid-February day
posted a few
thoughts on DU
to blow the blues away...

The King of Hearts
well versed in arts
too subtle to mention
also he wrote
postings of note
depicting his intention....

The Knave of Hearts
and of false starts
considered his position
Romance, he typed
is over-hyped
and prone to much derision

Then came a jester
no doubt to pester
with bawdiness uncouth:
'Romance is dead
wage war instead
love is the blindness of youth'.....

This Valentine's Day
will cynics hold sway
in the court of public opinion
will the battered and bruised
and sorely unamused
be gripped in their dominion?
