Is anyone else afraid of these things? :(

I have to take two for the first time in about 10 minutes, to treat my newly diagnosed chronic pain condition. I've been putting it off looking for potential problems! One of them is an antidepressant, but it's only 25mg intended to address the pain. Supposedly doesn't even work as an antidepressant at such a small dosage, but I'm still nervous.

1. Try taking 23 at once!

I do, every morning, in one gulp.

The key: As much water as you can get in your mouth. Then, just "float" the pills up to the center of your mouth, and swallow.

If it is not the swallowing you are worried about in your OP, but rather, the side effects, don't worry. You will surely be fine. All the horrid warnings you see on prescription drugs are mainly CYA for the Pharma companies.

2. Yeah, it's the side-effects.

They say the antidepressant is at a minimal dosage and is non-addictive. Just the same ...

I can't swallow pills. I've never been able to. So I have to chew them. They taste horrible. :puke:
