I just received some happy news.

Some of you may remember a few weeks back I told you about my friend that was in a serious car accident and they were not sure if he would make it.
Well, after almost 4 weeks in a coma he will be starting rehab next Monday. He came out of the coma completely last Friday. He had shown some awareness a few times before.
I am so thrilled. He is one of the nicest, funniest, most caring people I know. He was always busy with 2 jobs, a new baby and taking care of his parents. He had only been awake for a few hours when he was telling everyone he was bored.
Thanks to everyone on DU who sent good vibes, prayers, etc.

He obviously has a very strong will to live. Sounds like he has a lot to live for and will fight very hard to recover. Best wishes to him and his family and loved ones.
