It Might Be Illegal To Pee In A Bottle And Toss It Out In Wyoming
who knew THIS was a rampant problem! GROSS!! :D

<snip>

CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- Urinating in a bottle and tossing it alongside the road would be made illegal under a bill introduced Wednesday in the Senate.

The practice, lawmakers say, has become problematic in some areas. A measure that passed introduction would classify it as littering, a misdemeanor punishable by up to nine months in prison and a $1,000 fine.

"For those of us who look at the beautiful scenery of Wyoming, we should now start looking at the shoulders of our roads," said a tongue-in-cheek Sen. Bill Vasey, D-Rawlins, the bill's sponsor.

Admitting it would be hard to enforce, Vasey said the measure is still needed to address an increasingly pungent problem, especially among highway cleanup crews.

3. Yep.
I've done that at 75 mph, quite a relief. But I've never felt compelled to throw the bottle out the window... isn't that kind of already illegal? :D

Sorta like passing a law forbidding people to store their spend bullets inside other people's bodies...

6. Years ago...
I was in the garage of a limo company, and one guy coming in to work found a bottle of spray cleaner under the seat, so began to clean the windshield before going out on the road.

A minute or so later, we heard the scream-- "THIS IS URINE!"

He didn't think it was nearly as funny as we did.

(Personally, I find it much easier to aim into the 24oz coffee cups, or Super Big Gulp cups than a bottle.)

7. Once, as a kid, when I was on vacation with
my parents, I had to pee. We were in the middle of nowhere in the mountains. We pulled over and I went down a path to go behind the bushes. I passed stuff worse than urine on the way. Piles of it.

I find it hard to believe that so much urine could be discarded along the highway to make the highway smell bad, though - that's a lot of urine. My dog pees on the grass every day in nearly the same spot and I can't detect any odor there, but I know the dog can.

8. On family trips we always carried empty Pringles cans for just such needs.
Or cool whip tubs.

Hey, it was the 70s. Don't act like we were a bunch of freaks!!!

9. Truck drivers are the biggest culprits
They're on tight schedules and often don't have time to stop and pee whenever nature calls (or shower for that matter) so the "pee and toss" method is pretty standard. My wife once got a plastic bottle full of this stuff in the windshield when the driver of the rig next to her tossed it without looking. :puke:

11. Personally, I'm against the casual disposal...
...of bodily wastes in containers on public streets. I live in Greenwich Village in NYC, and I can tell you that every Sunday morning, as I go down to get a cup of joe and a bagel, I inevitably come across one or more plastic water bottles full of urine on the sidewalks or in the gutters of my 'hood. Someone has to clean them up! Man, it's just rude! And a health hazard.

"I told ya to go before we left the house!" So my dear dad would often say to me. When I was six. Why do so many adults act like incontinent children?
