11. That's so funny you should post this because.....

I was just about ready to start a thread bitchin' about how the weather people can sometimes be so OFF on their forecasts.

They've been making such a big-ass deal about this storm: High Wind Warning: 30-40mph sustained winds, with gusts up to 60mph, blah, blah, blah.....up to 4 inches of rain possible in the Santa Cruz mtns....

but I'm here to tell ya, it's pretty mellow here in Scotts Valley right now. Yes, we've got steady heavy rain, but there's NO wind, whatsoever. :eyes:

We'll see if it changes...How weird that you're getting it down in Hollister.


Oh wait...it's picking up a bit now. The windchimes are blowin', but nothing too dramatic yet.

I was out in the garden weighing down lightweight objects and thinking this was going to be one of those much-ado-about-nothing storms when a big gust swept across the yard. Maybe there will be interesting weather later this evening after all.
