Is anyone experienced in grant writing?
My husband started a non-profit business association several years ago and he's excited about this comprehensive training program his association has developed but, as always, getting it funded is a headache. I want to research the possibility of receiving grants but I'm new at this.

Any advice? I found Grants.gov but any other sites/resources/tips would be appreciated. :)

1. I am. I write grants every week.
Go here:

http://www.foundationcenter.org/

and go to the 'Gain Knowledge' tab. You'll see a tab for proposal writing, which is the same thing, just a different word. You can sign up for online classes and purchase books from fdn center to help as well.

PM me if you need additional assistance.

Best of luck.

5. I think grant writing is excellent exercise for organizing your thinking.
Writing grants over time is the mental equivalent of going to the gym. :-)
