3. I am embarrassed to say that I have been watching

"America's Top Model". It is one of those stupid situations where I watched one and now I am sucked in. Normally reality TV isn't my bag but lately I have been also on "The Apprentice" and "My Obnoxious Fiancee".

what passes for entertainment in live(as in not animated) TV? Sorry but appreciating SpongeBob is nothing to be ashamed of at any age. The writers for animation are often able to get away with subtler humor embedded in with the hijinks. The live action crud costs too much so they are committeed to death. Nothing intelligent can survive a writing commitee.

8. This is silly, but

back in the 1980s, living in a small town in Oregon and often being very bored, I became hooked on a Canadian series that ran on our local PBS station: Degrassi Junior High and its follow-up Degrassi High. While some DUers were themselves in junior or senior high when these shows ran, I was in my thirties. :-)
