I won't sleep tonight and require entertaining stories, or naked dances if you have them. :P No, seriously! :bounce:

1. My dear crim son!
I am awake!

I got home from my weekly poetry reading at the local coffee house about 90 minutes ago!

I've still got some adrenaline running...

It's keeping me awake!

No naked dances from me, sweetie...:scared:

3. Well hell.
Peg, what's the difference between exposing your deepest emotion of the moment and your naked body? Don't be shy! Don't have personal dignity!

:) How'd the recital go?

8. It went well, thanks!
I only got to read one poem, and they were videotaping!

They taped everyone who agreed...

I might make it onto YouTube yet...

I'll know in about a month!

Trust me, you do not want to see my naked body! :puke:

I'm toddling...Can hardly keep my eyes open...

Have a good night, L!

22. I'm around during the day on occasion
usually because of some kind of appointment - look for me on teeth-cleaning days, for example :D

I make myself go to lunch with friends sometimes too.

Really, my life is so odd - I'm out running around at 0200 in the morning and it's as normal to me as 2:00 PM is to the day world. :D

7. Mornin', sunshine.
Here's an entertaining story (well, I find it entertaining, in retrospect):

The first time I came to meet Call Me Wesley's family, he met me at the train station in Zurich, and we rode the train across 3.5 hours across Switzerland to his mother's home in Ticino.

When we arrived at his mother's house, CMW introduced me and his mother's first words to me were, "Would you like to douche?"

Stunned, I turned to CMW and asked, "What does she think we _did_ on the train????"

Turns out, "douche" in the term many German speakers use for "shower."

13. LOL!
I've done enough traveling in France to have guessed her meaning! You know, if she spoke slowly. As a longtime American citizen, I am always surprised by the size of bathing faciliies abroad. I'm tall and long-limbed and never escape the shower without a few bruises.

Hi Heidi! It's morning for you? For me too, soon. I think I should eat. What say you? :pals:

82. True confession:
I almost ate at McDonald's in Geneva last week, but was dissuaded by my traveling companion, Davide, a couture-dressed Swiss-Italian who loves McDonald's fries but would rather die than be _seen_ eating there.

But you've gotta cut me some slack. I haven't had _any_ fast food since mid-1999. Even a chicken-fried chick from the South the most discerning, well-traveled and refined woman gets a cravin' once in a while. :7

There are a number of these cannons up in Quebec City, though they are placed on the green grass for only a few months of the year.

It was on the Acoma Indian Reservation...and it was very hot and quiet...hard to describe, but it really left an impression on me.

Edit: WHOOPS! I thought you were talking about the Acoma Rainstorm  Yes, that is my youngest daughter, at Salmon Creek Beach.

I leave you with some fungi; they have their own kind of beauty...

And I am off to bed.

I hope your day brings good things MissHoneychurch!!!

63. All the better you haven't seen me.
It's one of my once-monthly sleepless nights! But BABY! I'm hot with greasy hair and my soiled sweater!
