I like how they made it more customizable and allowed you to add these applications to your profile...and I love, love, love the scrabble app. But it seems like all of the sudden to add a great majority of the new applications you have to forward it to and invite like 7 of your friends before you are allowed to use the application yourself. When did this type of spamming become the norm for Facebook? If I want to add something, fine, but I'll be dammed if I'm going to forward it to half of my contacts list before I can use it...they can suck it, I won't use their crappy application if that's the case from now on!

1. I hate that about Facebook.
I found with some of them that you don't have to actually send the invites....if you get to the invite page and then just click to go to your profile, the result of the quiz/whatever is there. The app maker's just being a complete wacko douche.

:D

5. it's a bit more private
no porn spam profiles...less customizable in so much that you can't change the basic color scheme and layout of your profile, but you can add these applications to it unlike myspace, such as movie quizzes, favorite sports teams, etc... but with these new spam requirements, it's slipping into the myspace crap void

6. Can you poke around in it without registering?
I'd kinda like to see who's there before I make a commitment. :hi:

8. I'm not sure
I know you can't see individual profiles without having one of your own (you need to "poke" non-friends to see their profiles). But I was a member of facebook since the college only days, so who knows how they deal with things now.

I think you may be able to do a directory type search though

11. Also, facebook is...
- weirdly connected to the CIA and the Total Information Awareness cabal;

- the biggest database of self-contributed, indelible personal information ever assembled;

- a site that won't ever erase your data, even if you suspend your account;

- a site with the worst privacy policy imaginable.

Enjoy!

7. I agree
I can't stand that, and end up having to delete the app so as not to pass it on.

I love scrabulous!
