EJ, I don't give a shit how you and the comp are going to work up the production schedule. I'm the editor, not the production jerk anymore. You figure it out. I'm telling you in realistic terms how frequently I am going to get manuscript from our author. If you don't like it, I suggest you call him.

SM, I swear to you, making art manuscript is not that hard. It's grade school cut and paste, really. No arcane processes, and no one wants you to trip up, I swear. Jesus, how do you manage being a college prof if a cut and paste job gives you the willies?!

AN, would it kill you to convert your art in the manner prescribed? Has it occurred to you that we put all of your art through a separate, time-consuming production proof for a reason?
