Robert Plant and Alison Krauss on CMT Crossroads
Doing material from their duet album "Raising Sand." Interesting takes on some Zep standards like Black Dog and When the Levee Breaks, although I gotta say, nothing beats the original Zep versions.

I found it mildly amusing when Alison and Plant were sitting at a table in the Station Inn (Nashville) and she was telling him how she heard his music as a little girl at her friends' houses.

I'm sure this program will be on again a few times, so if you're interested, watch for it.

1. Thanks!
I've been waiting for them to re-run Elvis Costello and Lucinda Williams.

3. I just downloaded this.
It's from one of those pesky sites where it's a pain to become a member, but I bet it's floating around all over the internets.

4. Yeah, I saw some of that the other night...
...while I was watching the only music channel that still has music. (R.I.P. VH1 Classic.)

Anyway, I got my TiVo set for stun. Should be racked up by Friday night.

(When The Levee Breaks, eh? That does sound interesting.)

5. Alison sings lead on Levee ... it's a very spooky arrangement.
Plant appears to approve, I must say.

6. Everything I've heard from
this duet album is spooky. I'm not likin' it at all.
