**Wednesday SNOWday check-in**
looks like another snow day for me. 7" of snow in my backyard, with an inch or so layer of sleety-frozen on top.

We're in a 'lull' at the moment, but more mix of snow/sleet/freezing rain coming in, not expected to end until 3-5pm tonight.

I have an hour commute on a secondary highway, through hinterlands and over hills and mountains. Schools are closed all along the route. Local weather report has big flashing "icy roads" warnings.

Before leaving work on Monday, I packed up my bag with plenty of work to do from home.

A little later we'll go out and shovel.

CORRECTION: LULL over, raining now, temps still below 32-deg. so it's freezing on contact...

1. Please stay warm and stay safe.
Today is the first snow free day in I don't know when. But snow is on it's merry way, and maybe tomorrow I'll get a snow day too! :)

5. SNOW day is also known as Family Fun Day at the MB
residence.

Little MB is coloring Valentine's for her classmates.

Mr MB is still in bed and I get to play on DU without risking the boss over the shoulder.

Later we have movies and popcorn.

I could have probably gotten out, but with the sleet coming down, there is no reason to drive 40 miles each way to work :P

Enjoy your day...

6. We have freezing rain all day
It's predicted that the freezing rain will turn to just rain this afternoon, except Glens Falls and north and I live just west of Glens Falls. I'm thinking I should work at home today. If it were just snow, it would be no problem. At least the cats will be happy.

8. Yeah, I just caught on
Funny how we both posted at around the same time. I hear rumbling now but it's not thunder, it's Tom and Huck chasing each other around. :hi:
