Tried to post this earlier but DU must be feeling about as good as I am ... which is pretty freakin' wretched.
So this year I got the flu shot (for the first time in years) and of course I get the flu (for the first time in years) because the freakin' shot does not immunize for the flu that is going around (of course).
This feels worse than being trapped in GDP for a day.
It's different strains every year so by the time it's produced and given out there's new strains going around. I have to get one for work since I sometimes work with influenza. Kind of stupid since the strains we're working with are not likely to be antigenically close to the ones in the vaccine, but it's probably just the company's CYA in case someone gets sick and tries to sue or something.
