2. There's no such thing as a pickup line.

If someone likes you, pretty much whatever you say is going to be well received, within the normal limits of taste and decency. Contrariwise, if someone doesn't like you, you need to pretty damned charming to persuade them otherwise.

4. I've learned to not use the word "die" in a pickup line. Don't give them ammunition.

Written in lipstick on a bar napkin and delivered to my table by a waiter:

As it turned out we did not get married, even though I said "Yes" at the time.
But it was a hell of a ride.
