Amazing. Possibly one of the best and certainly one of the most underrated songs of the genre.

I've watched this video once a month for a year. Hollis has so much depth to his writing. Notice that this one contains the same bass/piano line throughout - it's remaining space is filled in with washes, haunting chords and hopeful vocals.

The consistency reminded me of the way hip hop cuts are looped.

The drum pattern is also typical of a lot of hip hop cuts.

The song is very transcendent in so many different ways.
