I gave myself a birthday present!
I've been iced in and unable to go to work for nearly a week. Today is my birthday, and any hope of getting out is slim. So....I told my husband my present could be a donation to DU! Since neither one of us is sure we'll still have jobs by the time we dig out (we work in a town that is 1000 feet lower than us and is not iced in), I couldn't give much, but it did make me feel good to be 53!
