And this one wasn't even one of my "fat" pictures....



yeah, this was me... about 13 years ago. I remember thinking, at the time, that it was probably the best picture I had ever taken or would ever take. Now, I don't even see "me".

That definitely is my gorgeous son though.

I don't take pictures - my husband doesn't either - we don't even have pics from our wedding! Hahahah! It's not that I don't like how I look, but I figure if someone wants a pic of me, they can take it and keep it. I don't need more clutter!

13. Yes, an ex-boyfriend sent me a video made from a home movie

he had taken of me 39 years ago. I was in a long white gown with a cape. And I thought, "My God, I look like a movie star." But, alas, those days are long gone.

14. Yes...a few months ago, I came across a profile shot of myself on the web...

in the photo, I had very closely cropped hair. However, that combined with my paleness and gauntness made me think that I looked like a cancer patient. Or junkie.
I have been growing my hair out since that day.

30. It only took me about 2 years...

Had gastric bypass surgery. Lost 100 pounds in the first 4 months. It's not for everybody and it's definitely no picnic at times but it worked for me.

I lost half of myself. Got down so skinny, people were staring, my arms were so ropey with veins and muscle. For a couple of summers, I was very self-conscious. I'm now maintaining a very healthy weight for my height, and still a little lower for what a woman my age should be (5'2", 115). It has totally changed my life. I have mild cerebral palsy and fibromyalgia. I still have difficult times, but I can't imagine what it would be like trying to lift that extra 100 lbs.

41. I just found the most embarrassing pics of myself ever.

They're only a few years old... it was from a trip when I went to see my half-sister in Portland, OR.

Unfortunately, in my haste to pack I forgot to bring any kind of sweater or light jacket or anything. So on the one cold day when we were oot and aboot, I had to borrow one of my brother's sweaters.

So there are actual photographs in existance... of me wearing a sweater... from The GAP.

I felt so dirty afterwards.
