is this true?

I was on another board in a thread about the origins of band names. One band brought up was One Eyed God Prophecy (who wrote, what is my view, the best socialist anthem of all time). Someone replied saying that it comes from an ancient Egyptian prophecy that humanity would be destroyed by a one eyed god it created. The heiroglyphic next to this was a stickfigure with a television for a head.

does that prophecy really exist?
