Neither did her sister. Their parents didn't give them middle names, reasoning that when they got married, their maiden names would become their middle names.

My parents did not give me a middle name for simplicity's sake, so I have to spend the rest of my life explaining why I never complete the middle name/initial field on paperwork. Or, people think I dislike my middle name so much I won't say what it is.

Given Francis at birth and added Xavier for confirmation. I tried something else, but they knew I was only making fun. So when I took Xavier they thought I was finally being serious about it. Oh well...lol. It stuck and have used it since. On everything from my high school diploma to my tattoo.
