I'm officially tired of hearing about the Superbowl. And it's only Thursday. If I see ONE MORE idiot puff piece on what passes for local news around here... :puke: Just now, there was a story on Ch. 12 about some Super Learning Curriculum in the local schools, where they make everything football/Superbowl related. Because it's totally about engaging kids in learning and TOTALLY not about training them to become good little NFL-brand loyal consumers. Gods, kids aren't dumb enough? Also why the fuck are the parties of douchebag poseurs in Scottsdale news? Is it news because they finally have something to do besides ride around in their Hummers pretending to be cool?

I'd also like to make an open statement to the guy at Carl's Jr the other day who was so busy trying to talk to me about football that he fucked up my order, and the dozens of people who think I must be excited because the Superbowl is in the shithole I'm temporarily residing in: I don't give a flying fuck about football, please quit asking me my opinions on teams, and no I don't hate America so please stop looking at me like that. I watch the commercials and that's it. I'm personally rooting for someone else's titty to fall out during halftime (preferably not one of the guys on the field) so the Puritans wet themselves again. :argh:
