Poll question: What should I do about attitude on another board?
I post on another board on occasion....only for the last month or so. Everyone on it has a huge ego and takes stabs at each other for no good reasons. I've never been attacked, but the constant attacks on everyone really bugs me. SHould I....

5. Read what you want to read, say what you want to say, and set the bar high

for what you will respond to.

If something passes a certain level of ignorance and stupidity display, just don't respond, whether it is directed at or about you or not.

This is actually good advice for any message board

7. Posting on another board.
I wouldn't bother with a "good by and this is why" speach. They arn't worth it. It only gives the flamers a new topic to attack you with. When I'm on a board that just goes off the deep end I just "moveon" (no pun in tended)

Their are plenty of other boards out there (such as this one) as much as the self proclaimed best of the web boards hate to admit.

So move on and don't go back, except to lurk of course :) (in the chance that they some day come back to reality).

I won't mention any names but In the Free Republic we live in, there are a few board that just don't get it.

8. I dunno you could try something Monty Pythonesque.
Maybe by the time they figure out the joke is on them, you could be long gone.
