My nephew has a doctor appt. today

he is almost three and gags when given solid food, when he sees it, when he smells it......He is a darling little genius but food terrifies him.....good vibes please.... I"ll keep you posted

2. how is he getting nourishment?

Is he terribly underweight?

growing like a weed.....taller than any of the kids his age and at a healthy weight, he's never sick.....he eats baby food, yougurt, and lots of milk

5. I saw a guy, a doctor on Oprah recently

And he was talking about the reason kids like bland, white food is that they have thousand, tens or hundreds of thousands more taste buds than adults. This is to make their palates ultra sensitive to protect from poision, etc. As we get older we lose taste buds and are more tolerant of different of flavors.

Hopefully it's something this simple. Fingers crossed.

6. Update

Liam is doing fine, growing well, healthy weight, getting all his nutriants, they have an appt in a few months to talk about the food, the doctor still hopes he is just being finickey and will outgrow it.....thanks for the well wishes
